The TUNZE Wavebox 6212 is a wave
generator for aquariums of 200 to 1200 litres. It is especially suitable for
reef biotopes as it generates oscillating currant. The currant corresponds
exactly to the wave structure and water movement in reef top zones. The Wavebox
applies this oscillating principle through Wave Controller 6091,which uses the
intrinsic resonance of the aquarium. A very low power consumption generates
ideal water movement. The water is in movement in all areas of the aquarium ,
even the smallest section behind decoration benefits from the wash.
Example : - On account of the
wash of the waves ,the maximum water level may rise 2 cm and more in
aquariums with a length of 1.5 metres. The wave height can be adjusted
electronically.

| For
larger aquariums an additional Wavebox extension ( part number 6212.50
without a controller ) can be connected to the same controller .Inside
the controller has 3 jumpers ,one - so the units can work at opposite
ends of the aquarium and work alternately ,one so the 2 Waveboxes can
work at the same end and work together and the third so the units can
work with a Multicontroller. |
All this water movement is created
by just one pump inside the new Wavebox
As you can see this is effecting the
entire aquarium and animals , bye ,bye dead spots
We would recommend that you use some
streams along with this new box to give some other flow patterns
as well.
