COMLINE bio reactors are two-zone reactors for aquariums
(oxidation/reduction). They can also be used as hydroponics reactors.
The plants cultivated without soil grow very well, because the
bacterially decomposed roughage can be absorbed directly and in
concentrated form by the roots. At the same time, the aquarium water is
relieved of organic water content. This fact is of special importance in
the keeping and breeding of Cichlidae.The bio/hydro reactor can be used
to cultivate mangroves in saltwater.
Together with filter 3166 / 3167 and a bio connection, the reactor is
mounted within a few minutes. Connection of additional reactors is
possible without further accessories.
Delivery condition: Ready for mounting with GRANOVIT and holders.
A The oxygenated aquarium water causes an oxidation phase in the GRANOVIT
granules, where ammonia and nitrite can be degraded.
B In the middle of the granule fill a
reduction phase is created, in which nitrate can be degraded. The fine
pores cause high biologically active degradation.
