All the T5 tubes use an A1 phosphor blend which is imperative to maintain a five point light spectrum. This enables replication of natural light in your aquarium.

The T5’s with A1 phosphor blend gives up to 10% more light per watt (using 40% less electricity) than can be obtained from an HQI (with minimal radiant heat) keeping the tank cool in the summer.

A tube Life of up to 15,000 hours.

Much thinner tubes than normal fluorescents give out approximaterly 40% more light than T8 tubes

MIDDAY 6000 K T5 TUBE

POWERCHROME Midday - a full spectrum lamp which closely imitates natural sunlight at 6000 Kelvin. Suitable for fresh-water, salt-water, reef aquariums 
and terrariums. 
Rated at 6,000 Kelvin with a spectrum designed to recreate sunlight in both fresh and salt water aquariums. This tube can be used on both freshwater and saltwater aquariums.

AQUA BLUE PLUS 60 / 40 T5 TUBE

POWERCHROME aquablue + is the ultimate blue/white light spectrum for brilliant colours from your corals and fish. The ideal light for all marine creatures
that live in salt-water and reef aquariums.

A special 60:40 combination of 6000K and 22000K (approx) phosphor blend. It is specifically designed for reef aquariums mimicking sea water to a depth of one to twenty meters. It can be used for growing SPS corals up to 80cm in the aquarium. The tubes can be combined with Aqua Flora for freshwater, tropical fish and planted aquaria.

PURE ACTINIC T5 TUBE

This bulb produces a deep blue ACTINIC spectrum for both fresh and salt water aquariums and will realy flouresce your corals.

Actinic pure is the latest of the latest T5 tubes.It is not as blue as the Actinic Plus and has a pure actinic sprectrum for the ultimate in fluorescence from your corals.

AQUA FLORA (FRESHWATER) T5 TUBE

POWERCHROME aquaflora - the perfect light spectrum for lush plant growth. Highlights the red and blue colours of your fish.
This tube is specially designed for Freshwater use. It brings out the blue and red colours in your fish whilst enhancing plant growth.

These tubes can be used in combinations. We recommend the Midday 6000 to be used in conjunction with the Aqua Flora for Freshwater. For saltwater you can use the Aquablue in conjunction with the Actinic Plus to achieve a deeper blue hue.
