A fantastic New hang on skimmer from Deltec.

Using a modified Maxijet pump with new pin needle impellor, that draws 130 Ltrs of air into the venturi, the foam goes around the outside of the cup and is collected in the center, the whole cup is removeable for cleaning.

Simple to prime, set up and use.

The unit is manufactured from clear plastic to make using & setting even easier.

DELTEC MULTI COMPACT EXTERNAL SKIMMER MCE600

At last a hang on skimmer that offers true skimming performance.

The new MCE600 skimmer draws in over 300 litres of air per hour, which will make it the most powerful hang on skimmer on the market place by far and suitable for tanks with normal stocking up to 700 litres (155 UK gallons).

In tests DELTEC found that most commonly available so called Œ high performance Skimmers manufactured by the competitors utilise only 40 - 80 lts of air per hour and are in no way suitable for the tank volumes that they recommend.

Any skimmer will remove waste from a tank when it is at dangerous levels - Deltec skimmers work at a completely different level.

When DELTEC put their skimmer's onto the same tank's as other skimmer's the other skimmers stop working.

The waste from a skimmer should be dark and smelly. If your skimmer produces a watery green liquid it may be time for a change.

The “Nano” model series has been designed for the use in reef biotopes up to 200 litres (52 US gal.), and is gentle to the plankton in operation. The DOC Skimmer 9002 removes up to 80 per cent of organic waste matter, such as protein and cellulose, from the aquarium water. Very little space is required in the aquarium, and its handling is very easy. On account of their construction, these models are particularly quiet during operation. On account of the high demands in stone coral aquariums, this skimmer should be used only in aquariums with about 100 litres (26 US gal.) of water. Mixed aquariums or soft coral aquariums up to 200 litres (52 US gal.) can be set up without any problems.
Delivery condition: Completely ready for mounting with holding device for vertical panes and horizontal glass tops up to 19 mm (.74 in).

Principle

By means of the water jet of the Nano pump and a high-performance jet, a fine pearly air mixture is produced which is released into an easy-to-clean skimmer cup through a newly developed reflection system. The protein-containing aquarium water diffuses into the skimmer through the opening in the bottom and on the rear, which is gentle to the plankton, thus suitable in particular for breeding tanks with living plankton.

TUNZE MASTER DOC SKIMMER 9420

The models of the Master DOC Skimmer are easily placed in aquarium cabinets with variable level and need no adjustment for operation.
They operate with TUNZE® Hydrofoamer Silence pump, which also ensures the water circulation; the open water circulation then reaches a water flow rate of 1,300 l/h, 2,600 l/h, 3,900 l/h or 5,200 l/h depending on model.
The models 9420 / 9440 as well as 9460 / 9480 have the same technical features, only the number of Hydrofoamers varies.
In case of operation in aquarium cabinets, the cartridge core on the outlet pipe ensures bubble-free outgoing water.
Skimmer cup and foam reactor are one unit in all TUNZE® DOC skimmers:
Every cleaning of the skimmer cup leads to the reactor being cleaned at the same time, and thus a very constant and efficient foam production is ensured. During the cleaning process, the Hydrofoamer remains operational and automatically flushes the air passage.
