Designed with a fan to cool the aquarium water temperature. This bulb appears to the naked eye as crisp ice white. The 14000k bulb combines the best characteristic of the 10,000k and 20,000k bulbs and eliminates the need to add supplemental flourecent or compact flourescent actinic blue lighting.
